Exception using DeleteMessageByUID on Imap with Mail.dll email component

Question

1. I tried using turning on log. - nothing abnormal

2. I tried using Imap .

while executing this line imap1.DeleteMessageByUID(uId);
getting "Expunge failed" exception.

Acutally this problem is occuring for one particular mail id.

Can you please paste the log output here.

In POP3 emails are first marked for deletion. EXPUNGE is the POP3 command that actually deletes messages. It seems this error is returned by the server. If that's the case you'll need to contact your server administrator for details.
