Mail.dll in a ASP.NET MVC

Is it possible to use mail.dll in a ASP.NET MVC application on the serverside?

Yes, it possible. Many our clients do so, it is a very common scenario.

Please remember that your application must have enough permissions to create a socket network connection - Mail.dll must be able to connect to the remote email server (using IMAP, POP3 or SMTP protocols).
